VIZCAYA FIRST FRIDAYS | LEARN PHOTOGRAPHY
In addition to the usual fun you can expect from Vizcaya First Fridays, the evening of October 2 will also feature photography mini-lessons by local experts.
The lessons are optional and can be purchased individually for $10 each. Only visitors who have purchase museum admission have access to these.
HOW DO I ACCESS THE PHOTOGRAPHY LESSONS?
Once you purchase museum admission for the evening, you will receive an email confirmation which will include a private link where you can then purchase the mini lessons of your choice.
PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY NOT PERMITTED | In alignment with the county regulations requiring the use of masks at all times, photo permits continue to be suspended at Vizcaya. In kind, visitors are not permitted to remove their masks for the purpose of taking photos and portrait photography will not be covered during this evening’s activities for this reason.
Before you purchase:
- Online tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
- Tickets are valid for entry any time between 4:30pm-7:30pm. The Main House and gardens will close at 8:00pm.
- Only individuals with pre-purchased online tickets can visit at this time. Vizcaya Members must also present online tickets for entry. Please present proof of purchase at the Admissions Booth.
- To ensure social distancing, groups of 10 or more are not permitted.
In accordance with Miami-Dade County Emergency Order 23-20:
- Bring your mask. Visitors and staff must wear facial coverings at all times, outside in our gardens and inside the Main House, bathrooms and other enclosed spaces, per Miami-Dade County Mayor’s announcement on July 1st. (with exceptions for children under 2 and those with chronic breathing conditions as described in Miami-Dade County Emergency Order 23-20).
- Visitors must maintain a distance of at least 6' from staff and other visitors, except for family members.
- Restroom use is limited to one person or up to two family members at a time.
- Some narrow paths are limited to one-way foot traffic to ensure social distancing.
- Visitors who do not comply with these County requirements may be asked to leave the property.
- Members must login to their online account to receive the member discount.
- Members are always free and require tickets for entry. A member discount is automatically applied at the time of purchase.
Before you visit:
- Visit Vizcaya.org/free for a selection of videos, meditations and playlists before, during and after your visit.
- The Cafe & Gift Shop are closed. Support Vizcaya's sustainability efforts and bring your own water with you. Picnicking is not permitted.
