Please read the following carefully, as some policies and procedures have changed:

Know before you purchase:

  • The $25 + tax deposit fee is non-refundable and non-transferrable. No exceptions will be made. The remaining permit fees ($225 + tax for weekday permits and $325 + tax for weekend permits) will be charged upon arrival at Admissions. Credit Card payments only.
  • Fees are non-refundable, and permits are issued “rain or shine”. Upon entering, fees are no longer refundable or transferable.
  • Wagons or any luggage or wheeled carriers are not permitted. We will permit re-entry to your vehicles on an as-needed basis. Individuals must inform Admissions of their intent to return.
  • The Permit fee provides entry for up to 5 people, including the client and the photographer. Please present proof of purchase at the Admissions Booth.
  • Only one permit per party is required.

Know before you go:

  • Entry to Vizcaya is open daily from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (however, Vizcaya is currently closed Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day), and the gardens remain open until 5:30 p.m. This permit is for gardens only, and does not include access to the Main House.
  • It is important that you review our Rules and Regulations prior to your visit. You must acknowledge that both the client and photographer have read and agree to the PERMIT.
  • If you do not comply with the rules and regulations, you may be asked to leave Vizcaya's premises and forfeit your payment.
  • The Cafe & Gift Shop are open. Picnicking is not permitted.
  • As this is an outdoor-only experience, bring your own umbrella. There are few areas for coverage in the gardens.
  • Please be advised that not all of Vizcaya's gardens or areas are accessible or available at all times due to restoration, programs, event rentals or unforeseen circumstances.

Health and Safety:

  • Bring your mask. In accordance with the Mask Mandate announced by Mayor Levine Cava on July 28, 2021, all visitors are required to wear masks indoors. All visitors are required to have a mask in their position upon arrival at the Admissions Booth in order to gain access to the estate. Mask use is not required in the gardens but highly recommended, especially in cases where social distancing cannot be properly maintained.
